10 years, 120 months, or 3652 days, however you see it, a lot has happened in the last decade.
Uber, Tinder and WhatsApp were introduced into our lives. Netflix shifted from a movie subscription that arrived in the post, to one of the most popular online streaming services.
The first ever image of a black hole was captured and Austrian Felix Baumgartner skydived from the edge of space, and survived!
In sport, Usain Bolt broke the 100m world record, stopping the clock 9.58 seconds, and Simone Biles became the most decorated gymnast of all time with 24 world medals, aged just 22.
And as for Rugged?
We went from one man and his idea, to a global company selling into indoor adventure, education, fitness and healthcare markets.
It’s been a decade of design, innovation and growth, here’s our story so far…
Rugged was built from the idea that every person, irrespective of age and physical ability, should have the opportunity to be active, and enjoy it. Our flagship product, the CardioWall, is now installed in over 150 schools in the UK.
It has been shipped as far and wide as Australia and Colombia, and has been used as a training tool by elite athletes, including Anthony Joshua and Novak Djokovic.
Here’s a word from our founding director and futurologist, Simon, on the growth and development of Rugged over the last decade:
‘What we’ve achieved is mainly down to the work and dedication of the people that joined Rugged after I set it up! If I can get glimpses of the future, they can always do a better job than me of making it reality – I can’t wait to see where the next 10 years leads us.’
Now with 12 products to our portfolio, two brilliant bases and a team of Rugged rascals, the future of Rugged looks as orange as ever.
Of course, our greatest thanks go to our customers for their continual support over the last decade.
So here's '10 Years of Thanks' from Team Rugged themselves:
